Look out boyfriends, I'mma gonna hurl!
Cripes, I have not done one of these since April! Time to empty the load pan!
Please keep The Cajun in your thoughts; he is so seriously ill right now.
Also please keep David J. in your thoughts; he too is ailing and has been in the hospital for what seems like forever.
Yesterday I had the extreme (and naughty) pleasure of meeting Mistress Maddie for cock-a-tails and lunch (a three-hour affair). Boyfriends, she is such a sweetheart! And she sure smelled good too (now now, no smutty thoughts please)!
She brought me this wonderful basket full of handmade goodies; shall we see what's here?
Holiday tree ornaments handknit by women in Peru. I think Jim would like the sock monkey, yes? So cute!
Maddie made these raisin tea biscuits from scratch; you toast them, then top them with butter or
Canadian honey (eh, Buddybear?). These are a good breakfast treat; spouse and I had them this morning, along with cawfee and
Maddie's made from scratch pumpkin whoopie pies. I LOVE YOU, MADDIE; your baking skills rival mine! Please to be posting the recipies! And we MUST get together again soon!
I wore my hand-knitted (artwork) sweaters yesterday; for those of you that want to admire them (sorry the pix suck so bad, but I had to copy them from another website):
my inner sweater
my outer sweater
Then Sluggy sent me a goodie box from a giveaway contest she held. I received it on Thursday; thanks Sluggy! :)
One of the treats in this box is some brandied peaches; can't wait to try these!
Baseball season is over (for me, anyway); now political season kicks in. STFU already, assholes; that means ALL OF YOU!
The trees are beginning to change colors; my fave season is here! Of course, we didn't have much of a summer.
Guess it's time to make the first batch of spo hot cocoa for those chilly mornings!
As you can all see, Miss Nyla is very busy today.
So is Miss Oreo. No, Nyla and Oreo were NOT in the same room at the same time.
And a rear view of Miss Gigi. We will be needing the wood for the fireplace in a couple of months.
My current knitting project.
And a finished project, a spring/summer shawl for the 2015 season.
WHERE the hell has 2014 gone?
